The Humber Students Federation needed our help to try and engage incoming students during their first week of school. They needed something that would leave a lasting impression at a time when students have tons of new information thrown at them. Our solution? We created a fully interactive Facebook video contest where students could link their Facebook account and see their own pictures appear in promotional videos we created. Each time a user logged in, they were staring in their own video. Each time they checked out a video, they were automatically entered into a draw to win a trip to New York City, a Macbook Pro, or several hundred dollars in gift cards. The response was amazing with over 2000 entries and a 35% conversion rate.
